Sound Effects - design and spotting

Production Audio is far from perfect. Occasionally, production sound can be compromised and no one knows it until visual editing is underway. It could be a truck in the background, some unruly wind or maybe an actor that just didn’t speak as loud as as clear as necessary.

Whatever the reason, recording ADR in such a way that can be blended with the production audio is imperative. That’s why it’s important to record Dialog Replacement to picture and to a scrolling teleprompt. The average ADR or looping session will capture several takes of an actor’s lines with the right microphones to match your production audio.

And for all those extras who were instructed not to speak in the background, we can provide a group of ‘Walla’ actors fill in all of that indiscernible noise and chatter. About Home Foley Studio Photos ADR Contact Samples SFX
